Strange How Stranger Things Rocks

So, I'm rewatching Stranger Things in preparation for Season 3. I still can't believe how good that is.

Why is it so good? Aside from the fact that there is a ton of reference to Dungeons and Dragons, it's the overall Eighties look that amazes me. I'm watching the show and it reminds me of how things looked like when I was a kid.

Actually, these are just minor things that make the experience better. What makes this show so great is that the storyline is well written, all of the actors play well and the visuals are just plain amazing.
